Operating under the absurd assumption that anyone noticed I haven't written anything all month, I decided to throw together a quick post (Ha! Not possible!) of some jumbled ideas floating around in the holographic matrix of my grey matter. I'll be rehashing (and extensively quoting) some old stuff, but you should keep in mind that any-thing can be used to learn/advance/grow. This is not a movie review, it's a synchromystic investigation, and each symbol can have multiple interpretations, all of which are valid. One might even use the same scene from a movie, like The Matrix, to propose two opposing "truths." As long as you keep moving forward, you're golden, but I'm getting ahead of myself here. Well it looks like this isn't going to be a short as I had thought, but hey, it's cheaper than a movie! So, grab some popcorn and, "on with the show!"
The bizarre mythology behind Scientology has aliens from another planet being rounded up in spaceships (which look like, what at this point in time are, outdated aircraft) and then dropped into a volcano on earth. The souls/spirits then come out and inhabit the bodies of ancient man and evolve them up to the point we're at now. The odd thing about this is that the less sci-fi aspects of it are very similar to mythology of shamanic cultures, fueled by entheogenic compounds such as psilocybin and DMT, as well as other older ancient-astronaut mythology.
Way back in the day, one of the first 'alternative' subjects I had read about was theories on angels, specifically Satan/Lucifer. The story went that the Archangels all ruled their own planet and the planet lorded over by Satan was the one between Mars and Jupiter which is an asteroid belt today. Satan/Lucifer/The Devil told the creatures on this planet to worship him as god. God didn't like that too much and destroyed his planet. (worship = war ship. No wonder God/YHWH got pissed, Satan was building war-ships against him!) So all that remains now is the asteroid belt. Where did Satan go from there? Well he was cast down from (the) heaven(s) to earth. "Satan is the god of this planet" sayeth Madam Blavatsky.
At around the same time I was reading some of the earlier UFO/Alien mythology on the internet as well. One version of events has a race of aliens being chased by another race of aliens from their planetary system into ours. The race which was running away landed on the planet which used to occupy the space of the asteroid belt. They set up a fake base, then came to earth and hid underground. The alien race in pursuit blew up the planet between Mars and Jupiter and then, just in case, set up an energy grid around the earth and moon so that any possible survivors would not be able to leave the solar system. Why didn't they just blow up earth too? Well, it wouldn't make a good story, that's why! So the aliens/angels trapped on earth either combined their DNA with some earlier species of humanoid, or died and reincarnated into the animals of earth, or continue to live underground in secret military installations or the "hollow earth." Interestingly, the top aliens in the reptilian theories are the "Winged Draco" (feathered serpents?), and seem to appear in the story below. Serpents are intimately connected with ayahuasca visions as well (shamanic brew with DMT in it), but these ones seem to be less earth spirits and more.. something else.

Here's an interesting ayahuasca induced version of events, as told in Michael Talbot's Holographic Universe:
In 1960 the American Museum of Natural History sent [Michael] Harner on a year-long expedition to study the Conibo, and while there he asked the Amazonian natives to tell him about their religious beliefs. They told him that if he really wished to learn, he had to take a shamanic sacred drink made from a hallucinogenic plant known as ayahuasca, the "soul vine." He agreed and after drinking the bitter concoction had an out-of-body experience in which he traveled [to] a level of reality populated by what appeared to be the gods and devils of the Conibo's mythology. He saw demons with grinning crocodilian heads. He watched as an "energy-essence" rose up out of his chest and floated toward a dragon-headed ship manned by Egyptian-style figures with blue-jay heads; and he felt what he thought was the slow, advancing numbness of his own death.
But the most dramatic experience he had during his spirit journey was an encounter with a group of winged, dragon-like beings that emerged from his spine. After they had crawled out of his body, they "projected" a visual scene in front of him in which they showed him what they said was the "true" history of the earth. Through a kind of "thought language" they explained that they were responsible for both the origin and evolution of all life on the planet. Indeed, they resided not only in human beings, but in all life, and had created the multitude of living forms that populates the earth to provide themselves with a hiding place from some undisclosed enemy in outer space (Harner notes that although the beings were almost like DNA, at the time, 1961, he knew nothing of DNA).
After this concatenation of visions was over, Harner sought out a blind Conibo shaman noted for his paranormal talents to talk to him about the experience. The shaman, who had made many excursions into the spirit world, nodded occasionally as Harner related the events that had befallen him, but when he told the old man about the dragon-like beings and their claim that they were the true masters of the earth, the shaman smiled with amusement. "Oh, they're always saying that. But they are only the Masters of Outer Darkness," he corrected.

[...] the Inca of Peru in Maccu Pichu were intent on forestalling an event at the end of the age by focused magical practice. They were apparently afraid of whatever was going to happen. Whether or not this is really the case, it's interesting to note the similarity between a tetramorphic picture called the "secret of the Inca," and an almost identical enigmatic engraving on the Cyclical Cross at Henday. The Cross was deciphered to reveal a warning about the end of the age and an apocalyptic event, the Day of Judgment. As Fulcanelli states in his chapter on the Henday Cross, "The age of iron has no other seal than that of Death. Its hieroglyph is the skeleton, bearing the attributes of Saturn: the empty hourglass, symbol of time run out..."
The theory that the Inca civilization was founded specifically to forestall a cataclysmic event at the end of the age was put forward in the book The Secret of the Incas. (There was also a movie of the same name starring Charlton Heston, narrator of Armageddon, he played Moses as well as the last man alive in The Omega Man.)
I Am the Omega
The Secret of the Incas reminds me of Philip K. Dick's hypothesis. I'll quote Wrong Way Wizard:
[Philip K. Dick] thought that the rightful Apocalypse had been/was being forestalled by the work of a secret sect of evil Mystics who possess a technique to hold reality in a kind of amnesiac tape-loop. [...] Through the practice of eldritch rituals not at all to the taste of Joe Six-Pack, these Mages forestall the second coming of Christ forever. The New Age never arrives. Instead, the old age is repackaged, renamed and vigorously remarketed and the Land of the Dead lives on. [...] We hover in a bubble of time, just as always. A flashing swath of plasma in the arc of a diver. Going, going, gone. Christ will never come. We are truly lost.
By holding back on the promise of life eternal in the bosom of a loving if somewhat self-satisfied messiah, the Secret Science has given us immortality of another, perhaps even better kind. The mad men of magick must revive us again and again in search of the solution to their sad little mystery. Either way we all win.
This should remind people of the Aeon Flux movie, where people are cloned over and over again to keep humanity alive, while time is basically frozen. This is also similar to movies like Logan's Run and The Island.

I also go off on a tangent about dogs in movies because of the scene from The Truman Show, so.. here's that tangent: I've noticed that the theme of the psychopomp Hermes in the form of the dog comes up with great regularity in Underworld/Afterlife type situations. In The Truman Show a dog named Pluto attacks Truman. Pluto is the lord of the Underworld and is the same as Hades. Jim Carrey is often surrounded by dogs in his other films. In The Mask he, and his dog, find that reality is much more of a Wonderland than he previously thought. In The Wizard of Oz the dog Toto accompanies Dorothy around Oz. In Beetlejuice a dog causes the car accident that kills the main characters. In fact, the dog himself kills them when he jumps off of a wooden plank where his weight was all that kept their car from plummeting into the river. A dog is one of the characters in the television show LOST and often leads people deep into the island. Anyways, keep that theme in mind next time you see a dog in a movie.
The Matrix is re-booted when The One gathers 23 people to re-populate Zion, 16 male and 7 female (Referencing Genesis 16:7-10). Morpheus' Red Pill speech from The Matrix:
Morpheus: "The matrix is everywhere. It is all around us. Even now in this very room. You can see it when you look out your window, or when you turn on your television. You can feel it when you go to work. When you go to church. when you pay your taxes. It is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth."
Neo: "What truth?"
Morpheus: "That you are a slave, Neo. Like everyone else, you were born into bondage. Born into a prison that you cannot smell or taste or touch. A prison ... for your mind (and soul)."
Another movie with Keanu Reeves, only he's on the other side of the conversation this time, is Constantine:

John Constantine: "You don't wanna know what's out there, trust me on this."

John Constantine: "You do this, there's no turning back. You see them... They see you. Understand?"

The land of the dead lives on. In movies such as Constantine, The Others, The Sixth Sense, Ghost Town, Beetlejuice, and The Haunting in Connecticut, among others, the land of the dead is right here alongside the land of the living. Hell is literally on earth. Satan was cast down to earth. This is the underworld, the world under the dome of (the) Heaven(s).

The Emerald City lies at the heart of Oz, much like the capital of Hell, Pandemonium. In The Matrix, the last human city is called Zion, and is located "deep underground near the earth's core, where it's still warm." (Note: "the last human" in Dogma, the last descendant of Jesus' bloodline, is called the last Sion(Zion)) The center of the earth is the traditional domain of the Christian idea of Hell. "Zion" is an anagram of "In Oz." Also, "zo" means life in Egyptian, so we might see the reverse of zo to mean death. "Oz" is a diminutive form of Osiris, the Egyptian deity of death and resurrection and of the Afterlife. Both Oz and Hell are sectioned into 4 slices, and even the Garden of Eden is broken up by it's four rivers.
In The Matrix, Agent Smith, talking to Mr. Anderson/Neo about his "double-life" as a hacker and programmer: "One of these lives has a future, the other does not." Thomas Anderson dies, Neo lives on. But in what manner? Cypher is talking to Trinity about unplugging Neo from the Matrix, and (Lu)Cypher says, "We're gonna kill him, do you understand that?"
When Neo is being unplugged and he is hallucinating that the mirror he touched is covering his body he says, "It's cold. It's cold" and he almost has a heart attack. Ever see a movie where someone was dying of a gunshot wound or too much blood loss? They say "I'm cold" or "It's cold." Neo is dying - only to "wake up" in the "real world."
The Matrix: (When Neo is being unplugged) Cypher says, "Buckle your seatbelt, Dorothy, 'cause Kansas, is going bye-bye" Kansas would be the Matrix, making Zion and the "Real World" analogous to The Land of Oz, Wonderland, Imagination Land, Fantasia, etc. Note that Morpheus calls the real world, "The desert of the real." Oz is surrounded by a desert.
Cypher, "I think, the Matrix, can be more real than this world." Trinity, "But you're out Cipher. You can't go back." Cypher, "That's what you think. They're gonna reinsert my body. I go back to sleep, and when I wake up, I won't remember a goddamn thing."
Cypher wants to be reborn in the Matrix Reality, and as anyone can tell you, most of us don't remember our past lives. In the television series Quantum Leap, scientist Sam Beckett gets stuck jumping into the lives of other people "in his time-line" (though not always) "to set things right," and keeps praying the next jump "will be the jump home." In the last episode he finds himself in a bar with other jumpers, some of whom are dead, and it seems this place is a rest stop before he continues on to more extreme jumps in the future. (The series ended here before he got to those more extreme jumps.) He is stuck living out the important moments of people's lives, the ones where they specifically incarnated to teach themselves a lesson (according to numerous past-life regressions). Though it seems instant, it takes a week (of creation) to jump from one person to the next. It seems that what we are seeing is Sam's many incarnations, and the pivotal moments therein, which are designed to teach him a lesson as his soul continues to evolve. Some past life regressions actually go into future lives, there's no reason (which I know of) that in higher dimensions where time is not linear, that you could not live out multiple incarnations simultaneously (like Sam Beckett). In this view of things, you could be your own mother and father and best friend and worst enemy all in this life! In fact that may be a better way of looking at it then how we look at each-other today. At the end of the series we learn that Sam never goes home.
The Cletic Rebel has outlined his theory on the energy grid that surrounds us and keeps us trapped in Philip K. Dick's "Black Iron Prison"(time loop):
(a) we are immortal spiritual beings,
(b) reincarnation is indisputable (heck, even "the Jesus" spoke of it),
(c) we are trapped in some type of construct that facilitates the process,
(d) we die and repeat the process before we can achieve gnosis,
(e) this prison construct serves a beneficiary outside ourselves,
(f) we have little comprehension of the nature of this/these being[s],
(g) there is some kind of fail-safe system/aetheric barrier that prevents our spirit from leaving should we manage to escape/break the cycle
In The Matrix, The Merovingian said: "Choice is an illusion created between those with power and those without." Wasn't taking the Red Pill or Blue Pill a choice? Is Merv telling us that the Red and Blue Pill dichotomy is yet another us vs. them, awake vs. asleep, democrats vs. republicans, coke vs. pepsi scam? Did I just compare enlightenment to The Cola Wars? In Total Recall, Arnold is told that he is still in the memory-vacation simulator at Recall, and not really on mars. The head of Recall offers Arnold a Red Pill which symbolizes his mind's desire to "wake up" from the simulation. Of course, the truth is that Arnold is awake (well, "is waking up" might be a better choice of words), and that the Red Pill will only knock him out so that they can re-brainwash him. The Red Pill keeps him in the game, like Neo in The Matrix. In the second "Matrix" movie, Neo learns that becoming "The One" (taking the Red Pill) is another layer of control and is meant to continue the Matrix, not stop it. "Neo" (or more specifically the anomaly in the Matrix programming) is immortal: Thomas Anderson dies, Neo lives on.
Looking back to the last picture of Eden, Hell and Oz, there's a logo in the bottom right from the movie Fido. In it, Carrie-Anne Moss ("Trinity" from the Matrix) and her son form a close relationship with their pet zombie named Fido. In the movie, certain fenced off areas in the world are back to (almost) normal after a zombie outbreak. They have captured some zombies and turned them into slaves, servants and pets. So the last human(s) live alongside the dead in a fenced-in area. The company that did all this is Zomcon, and has an "Oz" resonating logo. The Celtic Rebel muses:
"So, yeah, it’s OZ. Oh, the wizards are crafty. Recalling the movie about zombies being domesticated, hence controlled. Question: What is Oz? Answer: 'A Better Life Through Containment!' Argh, how fucking obvious!"
Jesus asked us to drink his blood (vampire/werewolf) and eat his flesh (zombie). What the hell kinda choices are those? After doing so, you become immortal upon your death (like in every zombie & vampire movie). Immortality is granted either way, but is that the kind of immortality you want? The Will Smith messiah vehicle I Am Legend was a remake of The Omega Man which in turn was a remake of The Last Man On Earth starring horror icon Vincent Price. They were all based off of the same book which inspired all the later vampire and zombie books and films. In The Last Man On Earth, Vincent Price wards off the zombies with garlic, mirrors, crosses and stakes through the heart. They're zombie-vampires (or vampire-zombies?), combined as one immortal being - closer to the original story (and Jesus' desciples) than movies which later separated the two.
Philip K. Dick called the (c)age in which we are trapped the Black Iron Prison. Fulcanelli calls this the Age of Iron with the seal of Death and attributes of Saturn. In the movie The Haunting In Connecticut, a minister is called upon to help exercise an apparently evil soul trapped in a house. He brings with him a cross made of two crossed iron magnets. He explains that "iron defends from evil," and that "prisons have iron bars to not only contain the body, but the evil contained within it." One must wonder whose definition of evil we're using here; Yahweh's? The chapter on iron in Sorcerer's Stone A Beginner's Guide to Alchemy is called "Mars' Challenge: The Angry Metal Iron." The author explains that the name for iron is derived from early words which mean "holy metal," because it was used to make swords for the Crusades. Yup, nothing more holy than, acting in the name of YHWH, committing the wholesale slaughter of Gnostic Christians and Muslims who had kept the Egyptian wisdom alive until then. Iron is the most abundant metal on the surface of the earth, while at the same time "natural" (earth formed) iron is extremely rare. Most of the iron here came in the form of meteorites, and "It is postulated that another planet similar to earth (a rocky planet) broke apart early in the formation of the solar system and is responsible for the iron-nickle debris that rains down upon the earth on a daily basis." What?! Satan/Lucifer's planet is the source of iron which literally rains down all over planet, keeping our "evil spirits" contained here? "Heavy dark iron oxides such as hematite, marcasite, magnetite, and siderite are the primary iron ores. Along with iron meteorites, they tend to exhibit distinctive radial and spherical crystalline spiraling, which is very significant in an esoteric sense. These signatures show the fundamental role that the iron archetype plays in the formation of matter in general. Several noted astrologers believe that iron is the mechanism by which the ether penetrates the planet and human body and brings life force to dead matter."
In The Haunting In Connecticut, as in many haunting/ghost movies, the souls of the deceased are shown to continue to exist right along side the rest of us. Sometimes there's an explanation for why they haven't passed on into the light (of rebirth, and another trip 'round this Hell on earth), but the basic premise still stands - the dead are right here, though most of the time we can't see them. We are literally living in the land of the dead - the "real world," or Zion, from The Matrix, Wonderland, Fantasia, and Imagination Land; all right here. Live From the Logosphere: "The Land of Oz in the Wizard of Oz is said to be Over the rainbow, or the spectrum of Light. Interestingly the Land of Oz has been said to be the Underworld or Duat of the Egyptian Mythology."
The above scene is from The Haunting In Connecticut. In the alcoholic dad's recreation room (or re-creation room?) is the completely out-of-place poster of the Egyptian afterlife. There's no indication in the movie that anyone is interested in Egyptian mythology, so why is that poster there? It's presence indicates to the viewer (subconsciously for most viewers who don't see it, but have probably seen it in their lives, or who gather the necessary information from the collective unconscious) that what we are seeing is the Underworld/Afterlife. It's all around us.
In the third Pirates Of the Caribbean movie, Johnny Depp/Captain Jack Sparrow finds himself in "Davey Jones' Locker," the Underworld (quite literally). His only company is other versions of himself, and a ton of crabs. In The Last Mimzy, where the kids open a portal to the future via a white rabbit and sri-yantra shaped rainbow bridge, crabs make a couple of appearances; once in possible reference to a live action version of the Mad Hatter's tea party from Alice In Wonderland. And in The Haunting In Connecticut, crabs appear out of nowhere in a waking dream had by the main character who is a boy dying of cancer who can see the spirits of the dead in his house. The minister, who is also dying, explains that those who are closer to death can see the other side clearer, therefore, the crabs are from the other side. From my The Journey Back Home: "The Crab is the symbol of Cancer, the Summer Solstices movement of the Sun into the Underworld or into the Lessening Daylight Hours of Fall and Winter."
Michael at Gosporn linked me to this article (titled: "The Star of the Sea") in his comment below. In a previous post of his he connects 8-legged crabs to the Vatican via the octagonal St. Peter's Square. In Star of the Sea, he connects Mary to starfish (obvious really, now that he mentions it!) and at the end informs us the the King Crab eats the giant Sunflower Sea Stars, as opposed to smaller crabs who are eaten by sea stars. I thought this connected well to the decidedly king of crabs, the constellation Cancer, who as I stated above signals the "movement of the Sun into the Underworld." Anadæ Effro, gifted synchro commenter, chimes in on Gosporns site with the comment that: "Those born under its sign [...] are also called Moonchildren, since that planetary body is our ruler." This gives me reason to mention the fantasy world in the movie The Never Ending Story known as "Fantasia" (Disney film as well), wherein the "Childlike Empress" (as she is named in the credits) has no name and must be given one by the child who is reading the book "The Never Ending Story," (rainbow)bridging the veil between "reality" and "fantasy." The name he gives her, almost completely undiscernable due to a raging storm, and never again mentioned, is: Moonchild. The Moonchild rules Fantasia, a land analogous to South Park's "Imagination Land" which was populated with Egyptian deities. It is another silhouette of this Otherworldly local.
Because of continuously excellent comments at the end of this post, I decided that (yet) another paragraph on the crab phenomena was warranted. "Bartholomew" comments that the sign of Cancer was known as the "Gate of Man," and was through which our soul becomes incarnated. This probably had something to do with the sun's solstice being in the Tropic of Cancer in the summer (and of Capricorn in the winter). However, today the sign of the summer solstice is Taurus (my sign :D). Previously I've mentioned how the sign of Cancer is symbolized by it's two stars which form a yin-yang or "69" type symbol, and that this comes from the ancient depiction of the sign as two donkeys. These are the donkeys the Egyptian Pharaoh rides, as well as Jesus on his entry into Jerusalem (per the messianic myths) which is celebrated on Palm Sunday. If the messiah is supposed to come into Jerusalem riding two donkeys, and we come into this incarnation riding the two stars of Cancer, are we not all messiahs of our personal spiritual evolution? We come into the sign of the crab, a shelled animal, and as an anonymous commenter and as Michael Skaggs said in his comment, "Shell Beach" was the border to the "wonderland" rat-maze in Dark City. We are incarnated into our mortal shells.

Crabs are usually found on beaches, but they keep showing up in the underworld and in near-death visions; perhaps the land of the dead is on a nice beach-front property? The Land of Oz is surrounded by a desert after all (in other depictions, the whole of Oz is an island and a desert surrounds the central lands). Here's an interesting passage from an interesting book which brings up the beach scenario, though not in a specifically "near-death" situation, I think there are interesting parallels nonetheless. The Holographic Universe, by Michael Talbot:
[Charles Tart, professor of psychology at UCDavis] found two graduate students, Anne and Bill, who could go into a deep trance and were also skilled hypnotists in their own right. He had Anne hypnotize Bill and after he was hypnotized, he had Bill hypnotize her in return. Tart's reasoning was that the already powerful rapport that exists between hypnotist and subject would be strengthened by using this unusual procedure. He was right. When they opened their eyes in this mutually hypnotized state everything looked gray. However, the grayness quickly gave way to vivid colors and glowing lights, and in a few moments they found themselves on a beach of unearthly beauty. The sand sparkled like diamonds, the sea was filled with enormous frothing bubbles and glistened like champagne, and the shoreline was dotted with translucent crystalline rocks pulsing with internal light. Although Tart could not see what Anne and Bill were seeing, from the way they were talking he quickly realized they were experiencing the same hallucinated reality. Of course, this was immediately obvious to Anne and Bill and they set about to explore their newfound world, swimming in the ocean and studying the glowing crystalline rocks. Unfortunately for Tart they also stopped talking, or at least they stopped talking from Tart's perspective. When he questioned them about their silence they told him that in their shared dreamworld they were talking, a phenomenon Tart feels involved some kind of paranormal communication between the two.
In the above scene from Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice sits in the waiting room for the recently deceased directly below a painting of a beach. Another painting in the room is of a bridge (who knows, it could be The Golden Gate bridge which is nicknamed "the bridge of death" due to the high number of suicides) representing the Rainbow Bridge perhaps, as well as a painting of a skyline with two partially destroyed towers... Below is the desert a recently deceased soul encounters when they try to leave their house in Beetlejuice.

Here's an interesting quote from a user of the Synchromysticism Forum which reminded me of the hypnosis story as well as near-death/past-life experiences and fit in well with this theme here. Keep in mind the greyness of the hypnosis world before it became a beach. Username 888Fae777:
[...] I always used to have [a recurring dream] of being a ball of light, traveling with other balls of colored light, through the sky. It was raining, and the skies were beautifully grey [...]. Suddenly, we all crash landed on a beach, and I felt a powerful, sudden sense of loss. [...] The balls of light, very briefly, became white birds, laying on the beach with broken wings. Then we all became people. A girl said to me, "See you when we're older," and then we all left the beach (I always presumed, to go and be born.)
The above is a screen-capture from the end of another "last man on earth" movie called The Quiet Earth. In this film, a man awakens after a mysterious "event" to find himself alone in the world. Later (as is usually the case) he finds a couple of other survivors. All the bodies of the rest of humanity (and animals) have simply vanished. There are however a couple of dead bodies at the scene of a car crash which clue them in to what happened to the rest of the people. Everyone who died at the moment of the "event" remained alive, and everyone else disappeared. The protagonist sacrifices himself in an attempt to destroy the government experiment which may have caused the event, hoping that this will keep it from happening again or getting worse. After he dies (again) he wakes to find himself on the eternal coastline of an alien beach. Saturn rises in what occultist might call a "blacksun rise." He appears to be on a beach of one of Saturn's moons. In Beetlejuice, the deserts of the Afterlife are referred to by Beetlejuice as Saturn, and in the script it was apparently meant to be Saturn's moon Titan.
Gustav Holst's Jupiter, The Bringer of Jollity plays on my computer right now reminding me that Jupiter served as the location of the Monolith and second sun ("Lucifer") in Stanley Kubricks sequel to 2001: A Space Odyssey. As we all well know, the original planet from Arthur C. Clark's book was Saturn. In the apparent attempt to create a second sun in real life, NASA has deemed it necessary to send nuclear payloads to these gas giants, the first one apparently nuked Jupiter's atmosphere already. The second payload, via the Cassini probe, will impact Saturn in 2010 (fitting the year in Clark's sequel to 2001) or possibly 2012 if the mission gets pushed back again. This time they will send it up the eye of the south pole storm which would allow it to get much deeper into the atmosphere before the gravity compresses the material into nuclear fission, presumably igniting the gases of Saturn. Saturn's moon Titan is already surprisingly earth-like, who knows what affect a closer sun would have on it. In Clark's trilogy, a moon of Jupiter (remember it was meant to be Saturn) gains oceans and living organisms. Could The Lucifer Project be an attempt to populate our Afterlife, which is on Titan, so the souls there can reincarnate again? Let's hope not!
In the script for Beetlejuice, Titan was only one part of limbo, another part had giant clock gears tearing apart the fabric of space and time as they moved. Saturn is the lord of time and death. It's symbolic, but unlikely that we actually go to Saturn when we die. It would seem that the land of the dead is right here, and the beach is a staging ground between lives, or perhaps a popular vacation spot for those not hindered with bodies? Speaking of bodies, those of the Heaven's Gate group were clad in Saturnian black and Nike shoes with their trademark "swoosh" symbol of Saturn's rings. Not only is the "swoosh" representative of Saturn's rings, but it's the angle the rings are at, when seen from earth, when Saturn is in the constellation of Aquarius - Saturn in the Age of Aquarius?

The theme of mind control has been strong in my mind lately as well as in several blogs. The Monarch butterfly as well as other symbols of government mind control programs have been brought up all year in regards to movies, music videos and television shows. If you are not already familiar with government mind control, and it's symbol language, then you will definitely want to read The Illuminati Formula Used to Create an Undetectable Total Mind Controlled Slave, by Cisco Wheeler and Fritz Springmeier.
Government abuse of Mind Kontrol victims became public knowledge in the 70's after the publishing of a book detailing the life of a famous MK victim, Candy Jones. Shortly after that, congressional investigations revealed the Candy's claims were based in reality, and that mind control on people against their will had in fact happened.
Project MK-ULTRA was first brought to wide public attention in 1975 by the U.S. Congress, through investigations by the Church Committee, and by a presidential commission known as the Rockefeller Commission. Investigative efforts were hampered by the fact that CIA Director Richard Helms ordered all MK-ULTRA files destroyed in 1973; the Church Committee and Rockefeller Commission investigations relied on the sworn testimony of direct participants and on the relatively small number of documents that survived Helms' destruction order.
Although the CIA insists that MK-ULTRA-type experiments have been abandoned, 14-year CIA veteran Victor Marchetti has stated in various interviews that the CIA routinely conducts disinformation campaigns and that CIA mind control research continued. In a 1977 interview, Marchetti specifically called the CIA claim that MK-ULTRA was abandoned a 'cover story.'.

Moving on, I just wanted to post up some movies which (potentially) contain the theme of mind control along with a few of the symbols therein. The rest of this blog article will take the position that "Mind Kontrol" is still happening and that the research into it is fairly accurate. Whether you consider reading this article under the same suspension of disbelief you would use to watch a movie, or whether you consider these movies to be revelations of dark secrets is up to you.
I just found the website In 2 Worlds from a link in this post at Pseudo Occult Media. In 2 Worlds has an article titled Mind Control Themes and Programming Triggers in Movies, which already lists mind control themes in several movies along with a description of what the symbols mean and why they are important to programming. There will probably be several references to Alice in Wonderland and The Wizard of Oz because these and other children's books are used in the programming of multiple personalities in children, from here on I will refer to the personalities as "alters." Here's a site which details the different mind control and occult themes in Wizard of Oz and Alice in Wonderland: WIZARD OF OZ and the ILLUMINATI MIND CONTROL.
Of all the children's books and movies used to program kids at a young age, these two stories are the most heavily used, and their symbolism is the easiest to spot in other movies which utilize the mind control theme.
The movie opens with Nicole Kidman, "Alice" (as in Wonderland), undressing in front of her mirrored closet and a window with the blinds probably a tad bit too open for most girls to feel comfortable. The night is black, the curtains are red and the rest of the room is white. Colors will be important in this movie, as they are in several of Kubrick color movies. Alice slips out of her dress and stands naked wearing only high heels, we can't see her face; this is an image which will come up later.
Next we are greeted with the title, white on a black background: EYES WIDE SHUT. Notice the deliberate use of contradiction here. It is often found in programming that reality and fiction are reversed and that many things are turned backwards for the victim creating a confusing labyrinth where their mind is trapped. There are numerous contradictions in Alice in Wonderland where up is down, etc. A incidental color-themed item which I would like to mention here is that alternating black and white will create all the other colors. This is often seen in movie credits where white letters scroll quickly on a black background. This is obviously not a "mind control" element, but one which I think many synchromystic symbol hunters would find interesting; a very over-used item in the symbolic world is the checkered floor (or checkered taxi cab, etc). Here's a picture of an optical illusion which creates the effect; unfortunately it is not animated. (Try printing it out and spinning it, tell me what you see.)
Like I said, colors are important in Kubricks films, and they are also important in mind control programming. People who have been programmed to see an entire fictional world in their heads will see programs as fruit on a tree. The tree symbolism comes from the Alice and Oz books, from Kabbala, but originally from the name of the most famous Nazi programmer: Dr. Greenbaum, also known as Dr./Mr. Green. The Greenbaum or Green Tree can be seen all over Eyes Wide Shut because the movie takes place during the Christmas season and there are Christmas trees everywhere (O Tannenbaum!). This clearly isn't a Christmas movie, so the season is used on purpose for a specific reason. In the Greenbaum Speech on how to recognize ritual abuse in multiple personality disorder (MPD), D.C.Hammond discusses the origins of Ultra-Green or Green Tree programming:
Well, all Green Programming is Ultra-Green and the Green Tree. Cabalistic mysticism is mixed all into this. If you're going to work with this you need to pick up a couple of books on the Cabala. [...] A patient had sat in my waiting area, got there considerably early and drew a detailed multicolored Cabalistic Tree over two years ago.
Now the interesting thing about the Green Tree is his original name was Greenbaum. What does "greenbaum" mean in German? Green Tree, Ultra-Tree and the Green Tree. I've also had patients who didn't appear to know that his original name was Greenbaum, volunteered that there were parts inside named Mr. Greenbaum.
Now they have tried to protect this very carefully. Let me give you an example with Ultra-Green. [...] We were going along and a patient was close to getting well, approaching final integration in a non-bloodline and she suddenly started hallucinating and her fingers were becoming hammers and other things like that. [...] we found that what happened was that they gave suggestions, that if she ever got well to a certain point she would go crazy. The way they did this was they strapped her down and they gave her LSD when she was eight years old. [They would say] "If you ever get to this point you will go crazy. If you ever get fully integrated and get well you will go crazy like this and will be locked up in an institution for the rest of your life. Finally they introduced other suggestions that, "Rather than have this happen, it would be easier to just kill yourself."
This was called the "Green Bomb." B-O-M-B. Lots of interesting internal consistencies like that play on words with Dr. Greenbaum, his original name.
All the Christmas trees in EWS would represent Greenbaum programming, and the multicolored lights would represent the colorful fruits of the tree (the programs). Tom Cruise, "Dr. Bill Harford," searches for his keys (Keys are important in programing) on a table with a painting of a 'secret garden' hanging above it. The archway leading to a garden or labyrinth which is shown in the painting is something I've seen in several movies/shows where a character enters an alternate world, or some type of initiatory journey. The rest of the paintings in the house are of nature scenes, and are very green. It's almost like windows into a forest area and not paintings at all, possibly a hint at Alice's sexual fantasy dream where she has sex with many anonymous partners in the forest. (Apparently Christiana Kubrick is an artist and did a large nature painting in A Clockwork Orange, so she may have done some of these as well) The house is decorated in a lot of red including the curtains and red candles and poinsettia flowers. Red is the color used in programming alters who are to be sex slaves or used in child pornography. They may wear a red ring as a signal of this. Other colors and rings or jewlery might represent other types of alters.
Now there's a lot to talk about which I haven't read elsewhere, so you can skip ahead if you haven't seen the movie, or keep reading if you have all day :) Bill and Alice Harford enter a party hosted by Bill's patient and friend Victor Ziegler. Near the entrance is a spiral staircase leading upstairs. The second floor of Victors mansion is referred to as being "somewhere" and "over the rainbow." In Oz programming the land over the rainbow is the colorful internal world which is much more exciting then the real world which is dark and boring. At the entrance to the party, as well as (all?) other buildings in the movie is a burley door-man. This bouncer represents the alter personality which guards each grid of programmed alters. Typically there's a 13 by 13 grid, a security alter, and then another grid of alters, and so on.
Bill's old friend Nick Nightingale plays the piano on a red carpet. He wears a white tux which contrasts Bills black tux when they talk. Nick is whisked away to "do something" for Victor and Bill is left alone where he gets befriended by two models who try to seduce him. They tell Bill that they are going to take him "where the rainbow ends." This is probably the second floor of Victors mansion where the real party happens. Bill stops them and then is taken away to help Victor with a problem upstairs; he takes the spiral staircase up (resonating the tornado in Oz). Upstairs Bill finds his friend Victor in the bathroom with a doped up ex-beauty queen in an almost comatose state. The girl took a speedball of heroin and cocaine. Heroin is used by handlers to keep their sex slaves dependent on them and in a stupor, unable and unwilling to leave. It's happened in many real world cases and is no surprise to see in this movie.
Alice is left alone by the bar, she downed a glass of champagne on the way there, and is nursing her second or more glass. I think it shows her addictive personality and desire to escape her boring reality (as the fantasy worlds are always brighter and more enjoyable). Sandor, a smooth Hungarian (his name evoking Anton Szandor LaVey) puts the moves on Alice and gets to dance with her. They dance closely while he uses neuro-linguistic techniques of a low monotone voice pitch to hypnotise Alice into sleeping with him. He also spins her quite rapidy during the dance, signaling the cylcone which carries Dorothy into Oz. (And reminding me of the Magic Dance of Jennifer Connely in The Labyrinth) When Sandor first approaches Alice the camera view is from behind Alice, then when Sandor kisses Alices hand the camera flips immediately to the opposite view; this may be a sign of going through the looking glass or switching of personalities/"alters."
Victor Ziegler's personal sex slave is named Amanda Curran, but he just calls her Mandy (similar to Candy, eh?). Mandy is naked, save for her highheels (remember Alice in the beginning), and wears a large pearl ring. I haven't found anything about what pearls represent in MK programming, though I know diamonds, emeralds and rubies are used. Pearls have their own symbolism already, being the semen of the sun god, and connected to the clam shell. Men deposit their pearl-jam into fuzzy clams all over the world, the symbolism was bound to happen! So perhaps the pearls represent another level of sex-slave programming (like getting a "pearl necklace").
Alice and Bill are at home. Alice is again naked (can't see if her heels are still on), and she takes off her earings infront of her vanity mirror. Here is the symbolic "through the looking glass" scene every movie like this has got to have. As Bill kisses Alice's neck, she peers into the mirror with her mind somewhere else, the camera zooms in to the Alice which is inside the mirror, not the real Alice standing in front of it. Now we, the viewers, have been brought through the looking glass with Alice and Dr. Bill Harford.
Dr. Bill goes to work. There's blue tint on the windows, and from now on all the night scenes will have extremely strong blue light coming through the windows. The sexual fantasies of Alice will also be shown only in blue light. Also from this point on the conversations will take on a noticable characteristic of almost everything being repeated. The Greenbaum speech mentions how children are forced to repeat things perfectly to avoid electroshock. If you own the movie, take a listen, it gets pretty repetitive after a while. Like the part where Bill asks Alice what the man she was dancing with wanted: Bill: "What did he want." Alice: "What did he want. What did he want. Sex ... upstairs, then and there." Upstairs, where the rainbow ends according to the two models who tried to seduce Bill? This makes me wonder if Sandor and the models were supposed to test Bill and Alice to check their willingness to go over the rainbow and eventually get invited to the real Illuminati parties.
Bill walks down the red-light district and meets a hooker named Domino wearing a zebra striped coat who lives in an apartment building with red doors. (Blatant checker-board symbolism) Zebra, as Jake Kotze of the Blob has pointed out, is the original name for VALIS, the intelligent computer from space which beamed information to Philip K. Dick's brain via a pink laser beam. Not sure what to make out of most of that, save to say that there is a connection to the downloading of information which is done during proramming (including "alien abduction" themed mind control). The hooker wears purple under her coat, a color associated with royalty (bloodlines) and with sexual imagry. A book in her apartment is called "Introducing Sociology." This hints at the psychology being used on a mass scale, but also to the well known fact that lots of hot girls take sociology in college (hint to all the guys out there not sure what major to choose!). I'm sure she's just working her way through school...

Domino. The prostitute that Bill meets as he roams about the city at night is named Domino. There is coincidentally what’s known as "domino programming" in mind control slaves. At the very end of one scene, Domino says to Bill, "Don’t worry ... I don't keep track of the time." Being that this is the last sentence of the scene means that the director wanted this to be emphasized. For what reason? Well interestingly enough, several authors on the subject of mind control have noted that a mind controlled subject in their triggered alternate personas will often have no sense of time. And once inside Domino's room, we see that she has rainbow Christmas lights strung up everywhere, tribal masks on the wall, a mirror over her dresser, and on the dresser, under the mirror is a book named "Shadows of the Mirror."
Anyways, Bill continues on to the Sonata Jazz Cafe (Sonata = "O, Satan" or "O, Santa," for x-mas!) where he meets his friend Nick Nightingale again, this time playing piano on a blue lit stage. They sit at a table with a light in the center which is covered in a white glass ball. The glass ball relates to the circle of mirrors programmed into children. The circle hides the real world and each pane of glass is guarded by a demon. On the way into the club is the sign "All Exits Are Final" meaning you have to pay the cover charge to get back in, or if you try to leave your handlers or undo your programming, the Green-Bomb or Omega Program will become active. (Also there is a strange painting of a 3-eyed thing with 2 tentacles, or at least that's what it looked like to me.) Bill is there when Nick is contacted to play piano at the Illuminati orgy and he sees the password Fidelio. Beethoven's Fidelio (Op. 72, an important number) is about a woman who saves her husband from death in a political prison. Dr, Bill successfully infiltrates the illuminati ritual, where all the women are all naked (after taking off their hooded cloaks) except for having highheels and a mask on (can't see their faces, like Alice in the opening scene). During the Illuminati orgy, Bill is outed as not being one of them and is about to be killed, or raped then killed, when Mandy saves his life by offering "to redeem him" by her own sacrifice. (Similar to the Fildelio opera. Beethoven's music will come up again in another movie.)
Before Bill attends the party, he stops by Rainbow Fashions which is 'over the rainbow' as seen on the sign outside where the shop below has a neon sign that says "under the rainbow." The shop is also next to a Masonic lodge. The Masons have a childrens faction called the Rainbow Girls. The rainbow girl inside the costume shop is the shop owners daughter. (The reason Bill goes here late at night is that he knew the old owner Peter Grenning (Mr. Green?)) The girl is in her underwear entertaining two asian men in the back office when Bill and Mr. Millich the shop owner come in. She is also wearing a pearl bracelet and a large plastic ring which has a reddish hue to it (sex-slave indicator). Millich yells at his daughter as she hides behind Bill and whispers into his left ear "your coat should be lined with ermine" (or something simialr). Whispering into the left ear is done during programming because it is controlled by the less-dominant right hemisphere of the brain, and apparently a good way to implant suggestions into the sub-conscious. Ermine indicates a high rank like king or judge, and is possibly a hint that Bill could raise his status by joining the Illuminati. Bill returns the rented costume the next day where he sees the girl in her underwear again and with the two asian men again. However, Millich is no longer mad at his daughter and seems errily close to her now. The Illuminati knows where he got his costume because they found the receipt in his jacket pocket (and thus knew he wasn't one of them), so perhaps they had a talk to Millich, or even just brainwashed him, who knows?
While it might not have much to do with mind control, the newspaper Bill reads after the orgy fiasco mentions that the ex-beauty queen Mandy died of a drug overdose at 3:45AM. 3-4-5 is a well known symbol of the 3-4-5 right triangle or the 47th problem of Euclid as the Masons call it. The title of that article is "Ex-Beauty Queen in Hotel Drugs Overdose." "Drugs overdose," not "a drug overdose"? Is this misspelling a trigger, or is it correct to say drugs and not drug overdose (implying more than one drug was used; like Mandy's speedball)? Maybe it should it be read "[Someone] Drugs ex-Beauty Queen in Hotel, Overdose." Either this line is always used for drug overdoses (make that "drugs" overdoses), or for specifically mind-controlled celebrities: This mailonsunday.co.uk article about Peaches Geldof amazingly says "The teenage daughter of Bob Geldof suffered an alleged drugs overdose earlier this month."
In a nearby article in Dr. Bill's newspaper is a piece on Congressional hearings on gun violence or something, and there appears the words: "no tolerance for mental violence."
At the end Bill comes home, the windows still glow with blue light, and he turns off the Christmas tree lights. (The first lights he's turned off since the first scene when he and Alice leave their bedroom) He goes into the bedroom and finds Alice asleep next to his mask. He breaks down and spills the beans to Alice. By the morning the blue light is gone. Alice and Bill talk while Christmas shopping:
ALICE "Maybe I think... we should be grateful. Grateful that we're managed to survive through all of our... adventures... whether they were real..or only a dream."
BILL "Are you sure of that?"
ALICE "Am I sure? Only as sure as I am that the reality of one night, let along that of a whole lifetime, can ever be the whole truth."
BILL "And no dream is ever just a dream."
ALICE "The important thing is we're awake now, and hopefully...for a long time to come."
BILL "Forever."
ALICE "Forever?"
BILL "Forever."
ALICE "Lets not use that word, you know? it frightens me. But I do love you ... and you know there is something very important that we need to do as soon as possible"
BILL "Whats that?"
ALICE "Fuck."

This movie reminds me of Vanilla Sky, the remake of Abre Los Ojos, starring Tom Cruise again. And he again wears a mask. "Mask symbology is heavily used in mind control as it represents the compartmentalized/masked off areas of a person’s mind." Quoted from the In2Worlds writeup on Vanilla Sky (scroll down about 3/4ths of the page). In Vanilla Sky, Cruise lives through a complete fantasy world which begins to disintegrate around him. At the end he throws himself off of a tall building (inside the fantasy world). As stated above, the Green-Bomb or Omega program makes mind controlled people want to commit suicide rather than to get well.

Another Stanley Kubrick movie which overtly uses the theme of mind control is A Clockwork Orange where a young hooligan volunteers for an experimental procedure as a quick ticket out of prison. Alexander DeLarge (Alexander the Great? Or perhaps Stanley is using a male form of Alice (in Wonderland again)) is strapped down into a movie theater chair, has his eyes held open and kept watered, and is forced to watch movies about violent activities; similar to those which he had done through the beginning of the movie. The drug Alex is given causes him to become sick, and that feeling is associated with the images he sees on the screen.
Here's a picture I stole from Pseudo-Occult Media's blog, to help cement my theory that the name "Alex" is deliberatly being used for it's closeness to "Alice":
Doctor: "Very soon now the drug will cause the subject to experience a death like paralysis, together with deep feelings of terror and helplessness. One of our early test subjects described it as being like death. A sense of stifling or drowning. And it is during this period, we found the subject will make his most rewarding associations between his catastophic experience, his environment and the violence he sees."
The death-like feeling is also used in creating a marionette alter. This process is described in Pseudo Occult Media's blog post: Vlad the Impaler and comes From Fritz Springmeier and Cisco Wheeler's book linked above.
To get a puppet, the body is given a drug which paralyzes the child. Then electro-shock is applied to certain muscles upon the command of the programmer. The effect is that the child has no control over his body, and the programmer can make the child’s body parts jerk and move by electro-shocking the muscles. The child actually becomes the puppet of the programmer.
Simulated drowning (Doctor: "A sense of stifling or drowning") is very important to mind control as well as torture (mind control for patsies), and will come up again in this movie (he is half-drowned by his ex-Droogies), as well as other movies mentioned below.
During the MK experience, Alex states: "Its funny how the colors of the real world only seem really real when you viddy them on a screen." Obviously the movie is not real, it's a movie afterall. But making MK victims think that fantasy is reality, or better than reality, is an important part of brainwashing. The chair Alex is strapped to is highly reminiscent of the actual MK-Ultra chair from the Montauk facility as seen in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Conspiracy Thoery, and Total Recall, as well as others.
When Alex is on display to show how well the programming works, he is bathed in blue light from a projector, which spreads out into a triangle shape. The blue light was seen in EWS as an indicator of fantasy, here Alex is in the fantasy world having been freshly programmed for non-violence.
In the above picture, the head of the institute feeds (programs) Alex.
During Alex's brainwashing, he was drugged and forced to watch violence, but at the end they played Ludwig Van Beethoven's 9th Symphony, inadvertantly making Alex sick whenever he heard his favorite song. When Alex was released he happened upon the house where he had attacked a man and woman. He told the man that Beethoven's 9th made him sick. So the man, realizing who Alex is, drugs Alex with red wine and then locks Alex upstairs and tortures him with Beethoven's 9th until Alex jumps from the window. (Second floor suicide attempt again, here when Alex's programming began to unravel, and like Mandy in EWS almost OD'ing where the rainbow ends on the second floor of Victors mansion) What's the deal with Beethoven in Stanley Kubrick's mind control movies? All I can find is that Beethoven was almost certainly a freemason.
When Alex first wakes up in the hospital his parents are looming over him. They have brought him a fruit basket (programs) with a package inside which appears to read: "EAT ME" (from Alice in Wonderland, "eat me" and "drink me").
At the end, Alex rightfully says that he is cured, having snapped out of his programming by surviving his suicide attempt. He seems to be going along with the doctor now because he likes the publicity, and not because of conditioning. The last scene is of Alex daydreaming that he is having a bit of the old in-out with a attractive girl (wearing a choker, a sign of sex-slavery) on a cloud with well dressed people applauding him. I don't want to jump to any conclusions here... This could just mean he's back, no longer sickened by "bad things," or it could be a flashback, or flashforward of a MK orgy-ritual like in EWS, or something else entirely.
The credits do not scroll accross the screen, they are presented as stills on alternating screens of single colors. There's a pattern to which color the screen switches to every couple of seconds. The Pattern is "Red, Blue, Red, Green" then a set of 8 "Red, Blue, Red, Green, Purple," then Red, Blue and finally Black. Seeing different color patterns can be triggers for MK victims, or can designate different alters. I don't know if there's any rhyme or reason to this set of colors though. It's clearly not random, but whether or not it has some specific meaning is beyond me.
Now here's a movie which is quite explicitly about goverment mind control! They even directly mention MK-ULTRA and "manchurian candidates." This film follows ex-MK-ULTRA assassin Mel Gibson ("Jerry Fletcher") and his love interest Julia Roberts ("Alice Sutton." Boy, they never get tired of using the name Alice do they?), who is an agent of the Justice Department. The movie opens with the Warner Bro's logo going from what you think is a real image, to becomming a flat 2D poster on a bus, revealing the two levels of reality you will be dealing with:
"You're just too good to be true. Can't take my eyes off of you."
What a classic scene. RFID implants in dogs! Next thing you know they'll be putting them in people! (What a conspiracy nut, eh?) I just read on wikipedia that the scene was completely ad-libbed by Gibson.
Jerry was programmed by CIA psychiatrist Dr. Jonas to be an assassin. He fails to kill his target (Alice's father), and instead protects him for a while until her father is sucessfully assassinated by another MK assassin, or "fall guy," as Jerry calls him. Jerry then begins to print a conspiracy theory newsletter where his theory that NASA was going to try to kill the President with an earthquake machine turns out to be true.

Jerry's apartment is completely sealed up where everything that can have a lock on it - does have a lock on it. It's almost like seeing into the fractured mind of a person brainwashed by MK-ULTRA. Each part of their mind is guarded (like the bouncers in front of every doorway in EWS). He also has a massive collection of The Catcher in the Rye which the movie uses as an indication of assassination level programming. (It's also used to track him whenever he buys a copy, which through brain washing he is compelled to do every chance he gets.) Jerry is programmed in an abondoned room of the Germaine O. Nicols Mental Hospital. It is true that many hospitals and universities carried out the governments varied experiments into mind control techniques (and still do). Jerry corrupts the name into "Geronimo" (like many parts of the movie, this evokes a real life conspiracy - the theft of Geronimo's bones by Prescott Bush for the Skull & Bones society.) He uses the word to describe love, and in this quote expresses his willingness to commit suicide, like any good MK victim:
Jerry Fletcher: Love gives you wings. It makes you fly. I don't even call it love. I call it Geronimo. When you're in love, you'll jump right from the top of the Empire State and you won't care, screaming "Geronimo" the whole way down. I love her so bad, I just... whoa, she wrecks me. I'd die for her.
The real gold in this film is the pretty accurate portrayal of brainwashing (well accurate according to the info, though movied-up a bit). Jerry is strapped to a wheelchair, eyes taped open, drugged, and given the old simulated drowning, while flashing lights and piercing high pitched noises play to distract his higher brain functioning. Dr. Jonas pushes Jerry backwards into a tub of water, holding him upside down for a few seconds. The upside-down move is regularly used in brainwashing (I think I found this at The Hidden Agendas):
Most victims remember being suspended upside down. Mengele honed this to a fine art with concentration camp victims, while records were made of how fast blood drained from a child or adult’s stomach when they were dunked upside down into a tank of ice-cold water. The coldwater tests supplied the data on temperature levels as consciousness faded. [...] Simply hanging a person upside down for one or two hours will begin to play tricks on the mind. The mind will begin to dissociate, and will begin to reverse the primordial brain functions such as pain is pleasure. The person’s mind rearranges.
Dr. Jonas: Have you ever been a place where hope was gone? Where all that's left is patience?

Jerry Fletcher: A good conspiracy is unprovable. I mean, if you can prove it, it means they screwed up somewhere along the line.
I left this out of the Eyes Wide Shut part, but now I think I should mention it. On one of the blogs which talks about Mind Kontrol frequently, there was mention of the importance of red-headed women. Alice Sutton of Conspiracy Theory is red headed, and she shares basic physical attributes of the women in EWS: model physique, light hair, and attractive. It's like all these Alices are being kidnapped based on specific requirements. I think you could swap the Alice from Conspiracy Theory with that from EWS, and it wouldn't be all that different. There's always Milla Jovovich, with a similar look, who plays "Alice" in Resident Evil: "My name is Alice ... and I remember everything." Even Alex (phonetic male version of Alice) of Clockwork has blond hair and blue eyes.
I found this Conspiracy Theory screenplay which describes the interrogation of Jerry as having even more elements of brainwashing; with electrical stimulation and his being forced to watch a movie showing disturbing images. Also, it reveals that Alice Sutton's name was originally going to be "Liza." (Possibly from Liza Minnelli, who voiced Dorothy Gale in Journey Back to Oz, and is the daughter of Judy Garland who played Dorothy Gale in The Wizard of Oz) Check out this wikipedia quote on Dorothy:
Garland was initially outfitted in a blonde wig for the part but Freed and LeRoy decided against it shortly into filming. Her breasts were bound with tape and she was made to wear a special corset to flatten out her curves and make her appear younger; her blue gingham dress (her only costume) was also chosen for its blurring effect on her figure.
Another Investigation into the Criminal Theft, Terrorism & Vandalism of the Human Mind by Fritz Springmeier already goes into great detail on the movie K-PAX and how it relates to government mind control. So, I'll just quote some stuff for you, and you can read the rest at the link above. (I might throw in some comments in parenthesis and in italics or bold important parts)
"K-PAX centers around a self-proclaimed alien named "Prot" (pronounced with a long o-like in goat) played by a very dissociative Kevin Spacey (yes-that's the actual name of this actor). K-PAX likes to leave the viewer somewhat in suspense about what or who Prot really is, but manages to convince the viewer throughout that Prot most likely is a genuine alien, in spite of all the evidence to any person knowledgeable about DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder) that Prot is really a programmed multiple personality. The movie begins with a stranger who appears out of nowhere with no I.D. Lights bother this light-sensitive person so he prefers to wear sunglasses. This stranger identifies himself as an alien but looks like a normal person, except that during the entire movie he acts extremely dissociative. Drugs don't affect this person like a normal person. He uses alien symbols. He acts psychotic. On various occasions, he acts like he is unfamiliar with the outside world's ways, although this is not consistently so, because sometimes he seems to understand things just fine. His behavior is inconsistent, while he tells us that he has been around for hundreds of years on earth, this alleged K-Pakian acts lost and surprised in copious situations."
"In the end of the movie, we learn that two persons, Prot and Robert Porter have both inhabited the same body. During several hypnosis sessions, our K-Paxian alien switches into several boy alters, including a small boy and an older boy. (If you haven’t seen alters of a multiple before, then this would be your chance.) When Prot is shown a photo of his body in the high school yearbook, he shows no reaction or sense of recognition. But asks the therapist to take care of Robert Porter (the name of the body) when he is gone. These are the standard features of a programmed multiple personality. Interestingly, the shrink’s son describes Prot, "He looks like Data from Star Trek." Data is a persona who is used in alter creation in the mind-control using Star Trek programming."
"Dr. Powell gives a description of Prot [...] He says, "He's very convincing, of course he's human, he’s the most convincing delusional I've met." On the one hand Prot appears to simply be a very convincing delusional, but the movie goes all out to convince the viewer that the delusion is after all reality. Generally, the mind-control story lines are made so real to the mind-control victim that these programmer-induced realities seem more real than reality itself." (Remember Alex from Clockwork: "Its funny how the colors of the real world only seem really real when you viddy them on a screen.")
(The scene on the 4th of July where Prot sudden relives a traumatic experience (triggered by a sprinkler, or perhaps by the rainbow pattern in the water droplets - over the rainbow we go!)):
"The scene opens with a close-up of [Dr. Powell's daughter's] ruby slippers, and then shows her swinging back and forth (like a spin), and then the camera jumps behind a glass so that she becomes a dissociative blur. And then the camera shows her with large red and blue balls, which look like red and blue pills in the background. The girl is out of character with the rest of the kids in the family, with her dress, bow in hair, and ruby slippers. She is in these clothes because this is standard Wizard of Oz programming. The swing substitutes for the tornado spin, which leads to dissociation and the dissociative spin takes the mind-control victim into "never never land" which is depicted by the blurred scene shown through the glass."
"In K-PAX [...] Prot asks a mental patient to watch for the Blue Bird, which is the first step to cure him. Blue Bird was the original code name for Monarch and MK Ultra mind-control programming. It is known that under the BLUEBIRD programming Japanese and Koreans were subjected to mind control in 1950. The documents released from this time period state that the programming was for 'controlling an individual to the point where he will do our bidding against his will and even against such fundamental laws of nature as self-preservation.'"
Springmeier lists many themes and sybmols in the movie which are common to mind control movies. I'll point out some of the important ones which relate to other movies here and you can read the rest at this link.
SUNGLASSES - Mind controlled slaves are in trance, especially the alters which think they are aliens (these tend to be deeper alters in a system and deeper also in trance). The pupils of these alters are dilated and they don’t like the sun light. Prot dislikes the sunlight and likes to wear sunglasses.
PSYCHIATRIC INSTITUTE OF MANHATTAN - This is actually the type of place where mind control programming is carried out. Isn’t that brash that they actually use this Institute as the setting for the movie. That ought to give any slave programmed there the chills. Prot does a play on words to describe the place “hospitable” and “hospital”, although the word “hospitable” is a reversal from how the doctors treat him. The programmers love word games like this, especially this kind where good and bad are confused.
CLOSE-UP OF ICE IN GLASS - This is a standard feature of mind-control and appears in many films concerned with programming. It pertains to breaking glass and cold.
MEMORIES OF SEXUAL TORTURE - When Prot is asked about sexual memories, he describes sex as nausea, nuts in a vice, being kicked in the stomach, and falling into something worse smelling that skunk smell. (Again, think of Clockwork and his programming against violence/rape) This is indeed what the trauma memories of these mind-control victims of programming are like. Prot is not describing alien sex - he is actually describing the sadistic sex of the programmers, who use "sex" as another horrible trauma. I have worked with victims of Illuminati mind-control who thought their programmers were aliens. While these victims would say that their programmers were enlightened aliens from a race far in advance of humans, they would describe to me sexual traumas that these "aliens" perpetrated upon their bodies.
CRYSTAL ON DESK - Another common programming device are crystals [...] There are also a number of periods during the movie when flashing spinning colored lights go off for periods of time. (Remember the crystal ball on the table when Dr. Bill get the Fidelio password in EWS)
WATER - Water is used in the movie in several ways, which are again consistent with the use of water in programming. At one point Prot yells, "Don't go into the water." Small child alters which are made into robots are often programmed to stay away from water. On the other hand, the image of the surface of still water being used as a mirror is quite standard. A watery world is created for the hypnotic sessions that Prot undergoes, which mimics the isolation tanks where some of the fundamental programming is carried out.
"If I were to sum up the movie, I might use the title in this fashion: K stands for Kontrol and PAX is Latin for peace. It is common among the World Order types to state that when they bring order out of chaos for us, there will be a peace."

This trilogy falls right in line with movies like The Manchurian Candidate and Conspiracy Theory. It's not quite overt in it's description of brainwashing, though by the third movie, The Bourne Ultimatum, it becomes pretty obvious. I'ts been a while since I've seen the movies, so there's probably some symbolic hints at mind control I forgot about, or didn't catch in previous viewings; so if anyone has anything to add, please do.
"Listen very carefully to what I'm about to tell you. I remember, I remember everything." - Jason Bourne
"Jason Bourne" (Matt Damon) is a government assassin who works for a secret black-ops section of the government. The type of program that has been secretly funded (by drugs) and secretly carried out for 50 years already. He has multiple personalities, err, "identities" though he can't remember who he really is. He is quick, agile, and strong. He can feel pain but at what looks like a much higher level than most. Usually an alter will take the pain so the main active personality can keep going. The movie would probably be pretty boring if he walked around like Jason Voorhees the whole time. (Hmm, I wonder about Voorhees... or Michael Myers for that matter. Mental patient, can't feel pain, they wear masks... Ok, moving on.) So Jason Bourne pretty much lies in bed all day waiting to be called on to assassinate someone. (Actually he now reminds me of the Montauk Supermen who were allegedly given superhuman abilities through brainwashing.) There are other assassins from the same black ops project who live in other parts of Europe as well. One of them is shown in a business meeting acting like a normal citizen until he gets the text message saying that he's been activated. One of the assassins who catches up with Bourne briefly speaks to him and mentions how he gets headaches while driving at night. Bourne is also shown to have headaches with his flashes of memory. As was mentioned above in the K-PAX section, sensitivity to light is the norm for people under mind control, and the headaches point to an obvious problem in their heads.
The mind control theme becomes very overt in the The Bourne Ultimatum. Here we see flash backs of Jason volunteering for the project. Afterwards he is black-bagged and dunked head first into a tub of water. The use of water and being held upside down has already been explained as a method of trauma, a way to reverse the idea of right and wrong, and as a representation of going "through the looking glass." He is also forced to shoot and kill a man where he doesn't even know if the man is a "bad guy" or what. During this scene, the man running the project said "You haven't slept for a long time. This can't go on forever. You're going to have to decide," which hints at sleep depravation which is used in brainwashing and torture (Only 2 hours of sleep are allowed each night for several days). Forced murder has been used before in war as a method of torture, and is used in child mind control where the children are forced to kill their pets. At the end Jason Bourne jumps from a roof into the river, signalling that he's gone back through the looking glass and is no longer Jason Bourne.
As an interesting side note, the name "Bourne" is actually connected to theories about who has done work for the CIA in this field, namely, Dr. Geoffrey Bourne and his son Peter Bourne who both worked at the civilian hospital in Grenada which was "accidentally" bombed during the attempt to rescue 12 American students in that country. This hospital is believed to be where MK-Ultra researched moved to in the years following the shutdown of the Jonestown operation. Quoting John Judge:
The cast of characters is neither dead nor inactive. Key members of the armed guard were ordered to be on board the Temple Ship, Cudjoe -- at the hour of the massacre they were on a supply run to Trinidad. George Phillip Blakey phoned his father-in-law, Dr. Lawrence Layton, from Panama after the event. At least ten members of the Temple remained on the boat, and set up a new community in Trinidad while Nigel Slingger, a Grenada businessman and insurance broker for Jonestown, repaired the 400-ton shipping vessel. Then Charles Touchette, Paul McCann, Stephan Jones, and George Blakey set up an "open house" in Grenada with the others. McCann spoke about starting a shipping company to "finance the continued work of the original Temple."
That "work" may have included the mysterious operations of the mental hospital in Grenada that eluded government security by promising free medical care. The hospital as operated by Sir Geoffrey Bourne, Chancellor of the St. George's University Medical School, was also staffed by his son Dr. Peter Bourne. His son's history includes work with psychological experiments and USAID in Vietnam, the methadone clinics in the U.S., and a drug scandal in the Carter White House. The mental hospital was the only structure bombed during the U.S. invasion of Grenada in 1983. This was part of a plan to put Sir Eric Gairy back in power. Were additional experiments going on at the site?
Adam Sandler plays The Zohan, who is a Israeli Mossad agent who has been trained to be a super-soldier, much like his American counter parts in the MK-ULTRA programs. I knew this was going to be a horrible movie, so I haven't actually seen it. Unfortunately, many symbol rich movies are outright terrible, but thankfully someone else has subjected themselves to the torture for the greater good. In Total Recall, Arnold Schwazenegger plays "Doug Quaid/Houser," yet one more movie version of a government mind controlled super-soldier. In fact, it is very reminiscent of supposed actual testimony of a government mind controlled soldier who was sent to Mars to fight aliens, and all that other good stuff we all suspect is probably going on. Douglas Quaid lives with his wife on Earth with a crappy job like any old person. But this person has an intense facination with Mars. Unbeknownst to Quaid, he is really a super-soldier who had his memory wiped away and given a fake life after his service ended. Qauid begins to remember when he goes to "Recall" to get a memory implant of a vaction to Mars where he plays a secret agent, but before they can implant the memory actual memories of service on Mars suddenly surface. The place he goes to get the memory vaction is called "Recall" which is like being named "Remember." The commercial for Recall has the tag-line "For the memory of a lifetime - Recall, Recall Recall." Or is it really saying - "To remember your real life, heres a trigger to help you out: RECALL RECALL RECALL!" Words or phrases said in triplicate are sometimes used in programming or as a trigger. This can be seen in the remake of Manchurian Candidate where a persons name is used as a trigger to hypnotise them, and is said three times (with three names, evoking assassins like John Wilkes Booth, etc). There is also a Monarch butterfly at the end of the commercial, which signals to us that there some serious mind control going on. The Recall doctors use a "Montauk chair" to wash the brains of their memory-vacationers. A very similar setup can be seen in the movie Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind where Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet erase the memory of their relationship.
There's some other symbols which are used in MK movies, such as the "red pill" Quaid is given to the head of Recall on mars in order to trick Quaid into thinking that he was dreaming, and that none of those events were real (The old "real = fantasy & fantasy = real" mind fuck).
Arnold's character has two personalities (which we see) "Houser" and "Quaid." Quaid, the brainwashed earth-based alter has a blond wife, reminding me of the light-haired women of EWS and the blond wig Dorothy was originally going to have in Oz. Hauser has a thing for brunette's. The brunette on mars is a whore, which adds to the sex-programming theme and of using hookers as victims as they won't be missed (another Eyes Wide Shut similarity) This also reminds me of Brittney Spears' alter personality which manifests when she puts on a brunette wig; she speaks with a british accent and has no memory of her actions. There is also an interesting connection with The 6th Day, staring Arnold as a man who has been illigally cloned. Once again he has an alter, though it's manifested as a whole person and not just in his head this time. In fact, there are lots of similarities between the two movies, especially the taxi ride and his visit to Recall and Repet. If you own both movies, watch one after the other and it's pretty obvious.

Everything is Under Control (Every-thing is Being Controlled)
"Captain Ben Marco" (Denzel Washington) and his troops go missing for three days and during that time they are drugged and brainwashed. Two of them are forced to murder two other soldiers. The forced murder was used in Bourne Ultimatum and is done in real life with small animals (as well as other kids). Triggers are used over the phone (the name repeated three times) to set the MK victim into a suggestive state.
It's been many years since I've seen the original Manchurian movie and quite a while since I've seen the remake, so I'm going to have to direct your attention once again to the In 2 Worlds on mind control movies (Second movie down). Here's a quote from that page:
Raymond’s mother, Senator Eleanor Shaw, calmly explains to Raymond the assassination plot which will allow him to take over once the newly elected President is removed from the picture. The gunman will be none other than the programmed and triggered Capt. Marco. When Raymond curiously asks about Marco’s fate, his mother lovingly explains that he will be killed, because “it’s necessary for the national healing.” A nice wake up call for those out there who still believe that the lone gunmen are regular guys gone crazy, rather than the programmed pawns acting for somebody else’s agenda that they really are.
This is a movie about government mind control on a large scale. But the real MK-ULTRA type stuff happens at the end when the main character "Winston Smith" is captured and subjected to torture in Room 101. Here is an excerpt from the Greenbaum Speech which should remind you of the Room 101 scene from the book or movie:
Then, after a suitable period when they're in a certain brainwave state, they will begin programming, programming oriented to self-destruction and debasement of the person. In a patient at this point in time about eight years old who has gone through a great deal early programming took place on a military installation. That's not uncommon. I've treated and been involved with cases who are part of this original mind-control project as well as having their programming on military reservations in many cases. We find a lot of connections with the CIA. This patient now was in a Cult school, a private Cult school where several of these sessions occurred a week. She would go into a room, get all hooked up. They would do all of these sorts of things. When she was in the proper altered state, now they were no longer having to monitor it with electroencephalographs, she also had already had placed on her electrodes, one in the vagina, for example, four on the head. Sometimes they'll be on other parts of the body. They will then begin and they would say to her, "You are angry with someone in the group." She'd say, "No, I'm not" and they'd violently shock her. They would say the same thing until she complied and didn't make any negative response. Then they would continue. "And because you are angry with someone in the group," or "When you are angry with someone in the group, you will hurt yourself. Do you understand?" She said, "No" and they shocked her. They repeated again, "Do you understand?" "Well, yes, but I don't want to." Shock her again until they get compliance. Then they keep adding to it. "And you will hurt yourself by cutting yourself. Do you understand?" Maybe she'd say yes, but they might say, "We don't believe you" and shock her anyway. "Go back and go over it again."
Jim Carrey "Joel Barish," and Kate Winslet "Clementine Kruczynski," are a couple who erase the memory of eachother. Dr. Howard Mierzwaik of the Lacuna Corporation offers memory erasing procedures. Joel asks, "Is there any risk of brain damage?" To which the doctor answers "Well, technically speaking, the operation is brain damage, but it's on a par with a night of heavy drinking. Nothing you'll miss."

Once again, a special chair is used to do the brainwashing. The one in this movie is pretty close to the one used in Total Recall, and probably really close to the real chair used in Montauk New York at the military base which created super-soldiers. They show Joel Barish all the things which remind him of his relationship, then track which areas of the brain react, then use that map to erase every memory he has of Clementine.

As Clementine is about to be completely erased, she says "Meet me... in Montauk..." In the real Montauk chair, they apparently recorded the psychic powers of the super-soldier opening stargates, then played those back in order to open the wormholes without needing a person in the chair; thereby allowing instant travel anywhere on earth or beyond. This is similar perhaps to the alien 'airport' underground in They Live. Clementine's hair changes colors a few times in the movie, letting you know it's a different person (or that she has different memories).
Blade Runner is about cyborgs, called "Replicants," who serve Man off-world doing mining or physical labor, and are basically futuristic slaves. Newer Replicants were given memories to make them seem more human, a way to backup or store emotions so that their predictable emotional responses became less predictable and more human. One replicant in the movie remembers taking piano lessons, so now she can actually play the piano. Some replicants are made for war, some for sex, and some for labor; very much like levels of programming and creating alters.
I haven't seen this movie, but here is an article at Pseudo-Occult Media which goes into great detail on the symbols which point to mind control themes in the movie. I did note that Kiera Kightly is shown nude in the movie at age 15, and her co-star Thora Birch was shirtless and braless in American Beauty at age 17. The sexualization of children is apparently a top priority for the Illuminati because there's just tons and tons of mass mind control (predictive programming) aimed at us and our children. Interestingly, I was talking to my cousin who's going to school to be a chef and we were talking about all the hormones put in basically any meat we eat and how they seem to be responsible for young girls going through puberty at age 8 or 9, some at even earlier ages. Codex Alimentarius sets guidlines which countries for some reason adopt, including manditory steroid/hormone use on all meat grown for food, including privately owned livestock; making vitamins, all health food and alternate health practices illigal, etc. Yeah, incase you're wondering, they are crazy. Here are some threads on ATS.com about it: here and here. It might sound out-there to say that hormones are used with the intentional effect of sexualizing girls at a younger age, I don't know for sure, but if you're eating at a fast-food joint with Disney inspired happy meal toys, you might just want to take note of how you're kids are acting.
The makers of this movie are a group of animators who left Disney with Don Bluth and created Don Bluth Productions. NIMH stands for the National Institute of Mental Health. I find it interesting that the first animated feature from a breakaway Disney group deals with Mental Health. There's some highly symbolic elements in the movie as well, but not having a copy with me makes it kind of hard to talk about. (Quotes from Wikipedia) "[Mrs. Brisby] learns that her late husband, along with the rats, was a part of a series of experiments at a place known as N.I.M.H." Usually in movies and books which use animal or alien characters, the real subject of the story is people who are then disguised as animals or aliens for the sake of telling a story or hiding the truth slightly. "Injections performed on the mice and rats boosted their intelligence, one of them being steroids, allowing them to learn to read and to understand things such as complex mechanics and electricity. The experiments also prolonged their lifespan." There's plenty of interesting real life reseach going on a NIMH, but this one stuck out for me: "Dr. Roger Sperry, a longtime NIMH research grantee, received the Nobel Prize in Medicine or Physiology for discoveries regarding the functional specialization of the cerebral hemispheres, or the 'left' and 'right' brain." Left and Right Brain differences are heavily used in brainwashing and mind control (In EWS, the girl whispers into Dr.Bill's left ear (right brain) while his right ear (left brain) is distracted by Mr. Millich yelling at the two asian guys.
"The stated mission of NIMH is to reduce the burden of mental illness and behavioral disorders through ('biomedical') research on mind, brain and behavior. NIMH is particularly known for studies of genetics, neuroscience and clinical trials of psychiatric medication."
Lenny Nero deals in dreams. Formerly an LAPD vice cop, he now deals in illegal 'squid' recordings - recordings made directly from the cerebral cortex of the participant, which allow the viewer to feel and experience everything the participant experiences as if they were there. Well it's not quite mind control, but it is interesting that they record the brain activity and play it back, like the Montauk Chair which opened wormholes. There's no specific chair to speak of in this movie. Instead, the user wears a wig with electrodes inside it which record all brain activity while the wig is on their head. A portable Montauk chair, but one which utilizes an important mind control theme - that of wigs to signal a change in personality or an alter.
And on the topic of the "squid" recordings, ignoring the penetrating theme of the tentacles going into your brain, here's something I quoted from The Hidden Agendas:
Government researchers have a device called a SQUID (Superconducting Quantum Interference Device) which actually monitors the light flowing from brain cell to brain cell. ... electromagnetic waves have the ability to change what the brain experiences and thinks.
You can always rely on Disney to serve up premo mind control themed material. Disney's Enchanted is no exception. Here is an article at Pseudo-Occult Media which goes into great detail on the mind control and other symbols of note in this movie.
If the above picture isn't just the perfect example of Disney's perversion-subversion, then I don't know what is. Interestingly, the above mentioned article points out the fact that the original script was "a racier R-rated movie." However, parents would expect an R-rated movie to have sexual imagry aimed at their children. The magick of Disney is that they keep their movies as close to a G rating as possible so that the hidden pearls of porn are unexpected and thus less likely to be seen in the first few viewings.

This justifiably long article at Pseudo-Occult Media goes into intricate detail of this Neil Gaiman movie. Neil Gaiman (not pronounced "gay-man" but more like "gaymn") is a master of fantasy story telling and occult symbolism. The movie is kind of "Wizard of Ozish," which means there's going to be many symbols here which you can see in a lot of the above mentioned movies. This movie's title should be a big give-away, containing two major MK themes: Mirrors and Masks. Also this picture below reminds me of Jerry's apartment in Conspiracy Theory.
Season 6, episode 19, "Three of a Kind." The Lone Gunmen visit Las Vegas in an attempt to infiltrate the "Def-Con '99" defence contractor conference which was rumored to be unveiling a new type of biological brainwashing method used to create mind-controlled assassins. Two geeks, Timmy and Jimmy are also there doing research. It turns out that Timmy is one of "them" and he drugs Jimmy. Later Jimmy runs under the wheels of a moving bus. Byers' old flame Suzanne Modeski explains that last time they met, she was taken and things were done to her: "It was like drowning everyday, struggling to breath." A poetic description of mind control or perhaps a very accurate portrayal of the process. She is the one who developed the new biological branwashing drug called 'AE' (and "Analytic Hystamine" I think?), "which affects the victims higher brain function, making them more open to suggestion." It also makes Scully act like a slut when she is injected with it; due to the inhibiting affect on higher brain function. This is also a clue to the sex-slavery connection to brainwashing and drugging. Suzanne had first met the Lone Gunmen before they were a group, when she came to them with a fake story that her daughter had been kidnapped by her ex-boyfriend, whome she identified as Mulder. Government agents stealing little kids, yet another reference to sex-slavery-mind-control. (See: The Finders for more) As for extra symbolic "synchs" there's Langly's t-shirt with an "oZo" shirt (for Ozomatli) hinting at Oz themed mind control programs. Def-Con appears to take place at the Monte Carlo hotel and casino in Las Vegas. It's symbol is the top hat and cane, typical symbol for wealth and power. It's also the symbol found on all Las Vegas poker chips; either stamped into the edge or on the surface in ink that shows up under a blacklight. This symbol draws upon the theory that the wealthy bloodline families control all the money.
Suzanne Modeski to the Lone Gunman: "No matter how paranoid you are, you're not paranoid enough. Tell the truth, reach as many people as you can with it, that's your weapon!"

In Dollhouse, Dushku plays a young woman named Echo, a member of a group of people known as "Actives" or "Dolls." The Dolls have had their personalities wiped clean so they can be imprinted with any number of new personas, including memory, muscle memory, skills, and language, for different assignments. They're then hired out for particular jobs, crimes, fantasies, and occasional good deeds. On missions, Actives are monitored internally (and remotely) by Handlers. In between tasks, they are mind-wiped into a child-like state and live in a futuristic dormitory/laboratory, a hidden facility nicknamed "The Dollhouse". The story follows Echo, who begins, in her mind-wiped state, to become self-aware.
The show is created by Joss Whedon, who also did Firefly and Serenity (the movie of Firefly), which involved the story of a Mind Kontrol government assassin. So, he's no stranger to this theme, and I'm sure Dollhouse will be dissected by other bloggers once the show comes out.

Fritz Springmeier believes that movies with mind control themes arn't used only for programming children, or activating that programming, but to brainwash the rest of us as well. Movies and television shows often use whats known as predictive programming, to get people to become comfertable with an idea, before it is unleashed upon the masses; possibly like this post at Pseudo-Occult Media. Another technique is neuro-linguistic programming, typically using "anchoring" to associate certain emotional states with certain triggers. So as far as you know, every movie and television show you've ever watched was attempting to brainwash you. There are some movies which try to wake people up, at least a little bit, though one could argue it's more predictive programming. So if you're not too paranoid, check out these 'programs' which might reverse some of the damage done to your free will.

One of my favorite movies, They Live, uses the clever ploy of an "alien race" to slightly veil this movie about what we would call "the Illuminati." They hide in plain sight, their alien features and subliminal messages blocked from the human brain using a signal originating from a news station's satellite. So, the news programs are covering up the secret one-world government and subliminal messages? It's almost a historical non-fiction movie! In They Live, some scientists stumble upon the truth, then design sunglasses (you should recognize this as a possible mind control symbol now) which reveal the aliens for what they are, and reveal subliminal messages hidden under everything. It also shows the world as shades of grey. Like Kansas versus Oz, the really-real world is made to look dull, while the fictional world created by the aliens is bright and colorful.
A hacker breaks into the television network and tries to tell people the truth several times during the movie, here are some quotes from him:

Running Man is set in a dystopian future world where the news and game shows are used to keep people dumbed down and distracted from the problems with their country and the world. It's a world where what is said on TV is taken at face value as fact, unquestioned by the sheeple who waste their lives making butt-shaped creases in their couches. (Wait, did I say that this was a movie, or the current state of affairs?) People who try to tell the truth are imprisoned, and some make onto the gladiator game show "Running Man." They have a chance to make it out of the game zone and recieve a pardon, or so the viewers think. The television signal is being sent from inside the game zone, and is hijacked by an underground revolution in order to show the television audience the truth about their favorite show and their leaders.
At the end of Running Man, the shows host Damon Killian explains:
This is television, thats all it is. It has nothing to do with people, it has to do with ratings. For 50 years we've told people what to eat what to drink what to wear ... Americans love television, they ween their kids on it. They love gameshows, they love wrestling, they love sports and violence. So what do we do? We give them what they want.
