Work has begun on the new video despite the handicap that all my DVD's are boxed up somewhere and still haven't arrived at my new location! D:< I had probably over 150 different movies and TV shows lined up but I'm cutting down the material considerably for the sake of clarity and my sanity. Right now it looks like it will be ~45 minutes long with probably another 10-15 minutes of "bonus footage" not included in the final draft, but maybe on my Vimeo account and a DVD.

Sooooo, the plan is to put together some of the ideas I've presented here before, but easier to understand with more source material, and now with a voice-over in some parts to help explain things. (Yes, my voice will be in this video - you may scream in terror now.) I'd like to make something I can show to the average movie watcher without boring them or confusing them to death.

The video is being broken up in sections which will each explain a piece of a whole mythological theme derived from too much movie watching. I like movies, I watch a lot of them, and I'm using quite a few different movies to make this video. Some people who think there's a single "true" interpretation of a film, or a theme in the film, will be better off not watching this video. It'd be like saying that the color red is evil and that I shouldn't use it in painting this picture! “Because sometimes, words have two meanings.” - Stairway to Heaven

Other videos are planned as well: Tarot in Film 2, as well as another one on theological themes derived from too much movie watching, and probably a few more videos down the line. Kinda seeing where the wind takes me these days; everything is pretty much up in the air.
